Marketing Coordinator

Bangalore based education technology company is looking for Marketing coordinators with a flare for sales.

Job location: Bangalore

No. of positions: 1

Core responsibilities:

• Planning and coordinating promotional and marketing events across Karnataka
• Researching and creating a city-wise database of schools in Karnataka according to criteria specified by the organization
• Visiting schools for meetings with management/decision makers to present company products/services and to generate sales leads
• Following-up with prospective clients
• Managing a team of junior marketing associates/interns
• Connecting with and managing vendors

Additional responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating promotional activities in other states
• Coordinating with sales team to plan promotional activities and events
• Requires intensive travel within Karnataka for visiting schools, meeting with school management, and to set up and coordinate promotional events
• Requires travel to tier-2 and tier-3 villages and towns for school visits and promotional events

Skills and qualifications required

• Graduate in any discipline, with 1-3 years of experience in project coordination/ administration/ event management
• Ability to converse very well in English and Kannada
• Mature presentation skills
• Good understanding of how the education system works in India
• Keen interest in sales and marketing
• High degree of confidence
• Ability to work with aggressive timelines and deadlines
