Training Specialist

We are looking to hire an experienced Training Associate/ Coordinator/ Specialist, to be based in Bangalore for our ed-tech client.

A Bangalore based education technology company is looking for a Training Specialist.  This ed-tech company develops digital and non-digital school transformation solutions. They collaborate closely with schools and vocational training institutions to enhance teacher competency and improve student learning outcomes.

I. Key responsibilities:

• Planning, designing and implementing relevant training programmes (across all products). This includes:
• Engaging with customers to understand and identify their needs and recommend appropriate training solutions
• Scheduling training sessions in consultation with relevant stakeholders within the organization
• Preparing a detailed training manual (across products and services)
• Preparing a customized training plan and agenda before every training
• Communicating with customers and informing them about the training plan and agenda
• Delivery of group trainings/ workshops / one-on-one sessions
• Obtaining customer feedback and taking action as appropriate
• Developing appropriate tools for assessments and monitoring customer progress in learning
• Maintaining relevant documentation

• Content Development (across all products). This includes:
• Collaborate with key stakeholders within the organization and contribute to content development when necessary
• Analyze and provide inputs to improving existing curriculum when necessary

II. Qualifications / Work experience

Essential

• Bachelors’ Degree in Education / Social Sciences
• 4-5 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in a school environment/with teaching experience
• Experience planning, designing and delivering trainings and workshops to teachers
• Experience developing assessments and evaluating learning

Desirable

• Experience in content development

Additional plus

• Experience teaching adults (preferable)

• Ability to engage with teachers from diverse backgrounds and provide helpful feedback
• Ability to build a rapport with key stakeholders in a school/ institution/ organization
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high degree of patience and resilience
• Ability to work on weekends (occasionally)
• Ability to travel to project areas frequently
