On hold: React.js Developer

We are looking for a JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js, and Node.js.

Role:

• Opportunity to work in a start-up
• Work in Education Technology domain which is witnessing rapid growth
• Primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain.
• Coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important

Candidate Profile:

• 1-2yrs of experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science

Must Have Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• RESTful APIs
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc 

Familiarity with:

• Newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Knowledge of isomorphic React
• Code versioning tools (Git-SCM)
• Cloud infrastructure (Example: AWS)
• Popular AI services (Example: Alexa, Google, Cortana)
• NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
