Position Closed: Communication Officer

Bangalore based Think tank research company is looking for Programme Officer Policy Engagement and Communication. It is a not-for-profit organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mass Communication/Journalism
• Experience in Media Relationships: 2-4 years
• Communication skills: Clear and good oral and written skills

Responsibilities/  Tasks:

1.      Ensure that there is constant interaction with the media (print and electronic media)

• Build and enhance a media network
• Create a strong media database
• Coordinate the important events with the media

2.      Plan and coordinate Press Meets

• Be available for the required events
• Plan and coordinate media events
• Identify the appropriate channels for giving visibility to CSTEPs achievements

3.      Plan the publication of articles written by the staff

• Coordinate with authors to collect and disseminate articles for publications
• Follow-up with the concerned Press regarding the same

4.      Work with other teams 

• Understand their need, and identify the team effort required to complete the task
